Mr. Burkhardt is an Associate Owner of the Cincinnati, Ohio office. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky. Joining CSI in May of 2014, he serves as the Director of Engineering CSI’s operations.
Mr. Burkhardt brings over 16 years of experience in the fields of construction materials engineering and geotechnical engineering fields. He is recognized as an expert in retaining structure design and problem soil sites. He has performed engineering consulting services on a variety of projects, including commercial-, industrial-, and government-owned geotechnical site evaluations, shallow- and deep foundation systems analyses and design, roadway, and pavement system design and analyses, embankment analyses and design, slope stability analyses, settlement monitoring programs, instrumentation programs, and geophysical explorations. He holds Engineering licenses in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Maryland, and West Virginia.
Mr. Burkhardt’s expertise and creativity in solving project problems over the years has given him a deep appreciation of how to improve the quality of life for our region, one project at a time.
