Kentucky Building Code Inspections Provided for the Construction of a Healthcare Facility

CSI PROVIDED INSPECTIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION MORNING POINTE'S SENIOR CARE COMMUNITIES IN LEXINGTON AND FRANKFORT, KENTUCKY - (May 2011)

Morning Pointe marks a major milestone as the senior healthcare services company breaks ground on a new senior care community in Lexington, Kentucky and celebrates the grand opening of The Lantern Alzheimer’s Memory Care community in Frankfort.

The community turnout was great at both events. What a warm welcome as Morning Pointe Senior Care starts from the ground up in Lexington and opens a second community within a community in Frankfort. "We are so proud of the community support, our company, our development team and associates,” says Greg A. Vital, CEO of Independent Healthcare Properties. "And we are most proud of the level of care we bring to so many with Alzheimer’s in our new state- of -the-art Memory Care Center of Excellence in Frankfort. This time next year, Morning Pointe will serve even more seniors at its new community in Lexington,” adds Vital.

Lexington Mayor Jim Gray and Teri Shirk, president and CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Kentucky spoke at the Lexington groundbreaking. While Frankfort Mayor Gippy Graham and Teri Shirk, once again, shared a few words at the Frankfort Lantern grand opening. The 55,000-square-foot structure in Lexington will house 73 personal care apartments including 20 specifically designed for The Lantern Alzheimer’s/Memory Care Center of Excellence. The $9 million dollar community is scheduled to open next spring.

Morning Pointe of Lexington is a Personal Care community and will provide clinical oversight by licensed nurses, assistance with activities of daily living, well-balanced meals and specialized Alzheimer’s/Memory Care programming. Other services and amenities will include medication management, transportation, a beauty/barber shop and an enclosed courtyard, activities/community events as well as a broad range of care based upon individual needs.

The Lantern Alzheimer’s Memory Care is a new 33 unit residential community, adjacent to the existing Morning Pointe Senior Care Community of Frankfort. The $5 million building totaling 30,000 square feet is situated on 2.5 acres.
